Boathouse Theatre Arts
Putting Boathouse Theatre Arts in the limelight.
‘Let’s Do Marketing’ Marketing Agency supported local Hastings Performing Arts Charity Boathouse Theatre Arts to step front of stage in the digital landscape by creating them a brand new website.
Founded in 2010, Boathouse Theatre Arts is a charity based in Hastings that offers weekend theatre sessions for children and adults with learning difficulties and/or autism in both Hastings and Bexhill.
Their workshops are a god send to many in the local area, helping participants to develop a wide range of theatrical skills, while also teaching important life skills such as building confidence, singing, dancing, acting, puppetry, storytelling, and prop making.
Believing that everyone should have the chance to shine, CEO Millie Rowland approached Let’s Do Marketing for support in getting Boathouse Theatre Arts online with a brand new website. She wanted to create a space that would fulfil several objectives
Creating a consistent and recognisable brand image for the charity
To promote the activities of the charity to potential new members
To collect email signup subscriptions
To sell tickets for productions
Let’s Do Marketing then worked closely with Boathouse Theatre Arts to bring all these elements together. Starting with a new brand image, Let’s Do Marketing utilised the colour scheme from existing staff uniforms to create a fun and vibrant palette, as well as giving the logo a modern refresh. They also carried out extensive keyword research, to ensure that the website would be fully optimised for the words and phrases that potential participants would be searching.
Once the website was completed, Let’s Do Marketing’s final act was to support the setup of an email marketing platform, collecting signups, creating an email newsletter template and authenticating the domain to ensure smooth delivery.
CEO Millie Rowland of Boathouse Theatre Arts was delighted with their new website and said:
